    1. The flowers were described as friendly little neighbours. The choice of the word friendly communicated that the flowers are in a supposedly good mood.
    2. The joyous mood is set by the description of the flowers "rejoicing with all their hearts in the cloudless sunshine, like friendly little neighbours." The "faces of the flowers" were also described as "they swung in the wind, whispering to one another what they had seen" as some of them seemed to "peep into the dining room window where the feast was spread."
    3. I would describe the mood as joyous and lively.

    1. While the setting of Little Women is carefree, happy and relaxed, the scene in MAX is a far cry away, being dark, thrilling and adrenaline- inducing.

    2. I would describe the mood as dreary, which slowly changes to mystery and fear.

  8. Little Women -
1> The felt welcomed and were in a good mood as showed in their expressions and enjoyed watching the people doing their part for the wedding.

2> Sense of sight: "The June roses over the porch were awake bright and early on that morning, rejoicing with all their hearts in the cloudless sunshine" showed that the author was gazing at the surroundings to notice these details and describe it.
Sense of hearing: "whispering to one another what they had seen" the author was listening to them to know that they were whispering
Sense of smell: "offered their tribute of beauty and fragrance to the gentle mistress who had loved and tended them so long" shows that the author could smell the fragrance to tell what it is and state it

3> I would describe the mood of the setting as a jubilant and blissful one as the text had a joyous description and a pleasant depiction due to it's detail.

    Max -
1>The venue of 'Little Women' were from a wedding venue while this setting from 'Max' were from a small street. It shows that the setting in this text is more dull and featureless the way the author described it compared to 'Little Women'. And also there was more description on the action instead of the background.

2> The mood was a melancholic one in the way the author described it because it felt like the daily scene was just repeated uneventfully.
